Guns---yes, no. . . What's your opinion?

In light of the shooting of 20 elementary school children and their teachers there is once again a spotlight on gun control.  Although I personally think the spotlight should be on mental health, I will address that elsewhere.
 The King of my world is an avid hunter, so obviously we do not condone a total ban on all guns. Hunters need guns, military need guns, trap shooters need guns, robbers need guns, extremists need guns. The list goes on and on.  Rather than spouting off unruly rants about the evils of of guns, can we have an intelligent discussion on gun regulations?
 There are federal laws and state laws.  What are they?  What is actually legal?  What is illegal?  Anyone want to contribute to this discussion?  I would like to compare state laws.
     What does the general public think should be legal?
     What should be illegal?
     What laws need to be changed to keep us safer?
     Any?  or does enforcement of the existing laws need to be better?

     Please give your opinion.

Mutiny!!!

Grill girl has declared a mutiny.  She says "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."  Huh!! Just so you know, Grill Girl, you are turning into your mother!  No offense to Mrs. Grill Girl, but really.
So now I have to be mute.  What can you do if you can't talk----Not much!
 You could read book.  I guess you could go to the library. They don't talk there, you'd be in quiet company.
 They prefer mutes.     Not mutants.     That's totally different.

                  It   is   kind  of    cute.

Where else could you go as a mute? Hmmmmm. . . . .  I suppose a nice quiet walk.  Maybe in the woods, but there could be THINGS in the woods.  You don't know that the cute little mutant girl is nice...she could be mean and nasty and scary and have lots of mutant friends just all waiting for you to go on your "mute" walk, just because you maybe said something that was not so very nice.  That doesn't mean you should have to go into the woods and be chased by mutants--who knows what they would do?!?!?

So this whole being mute thing is just plain MEAN!

 If you're going to be mean, maybe you just shouldn't say anything at all!! Wait a minute, that's how this whole thing started.  Is this a conspiracy?

He is such a manly man.  Yet this is his dog . . . . hmmm. . . . . is he really just a softy?  Well, anyway the dog's licker is broken.  She can't stop licking. Lick, lick,lick, lick.  It doesn't end.  And it is not quiet.  She is a noisy licker.  She licks everything, not just herself. I have the cleanest blankets ever, although kind of wet.  We are trying to sleep and all you here is lick, lick, lick, lick.  STOP already!!  So the other morning she is, you guessed it,  licking the blankets, lick, lick, lick.  I look over and she licks up a blanket fuzzy.  Oh oh!  That can't taste too good.  The King says,  "She just needed something warm inside her."  He is so funny, a laugh a minute.  Then she hacks up the blanket fuzzy, what a way to start the day.

Cat Questions from The Future Queen

The future queen was visiting and she has some cat questions.  She wants to know. . .




 if you throw a cat out the car window, does it become kitty litter?

or  if you have a bunch of cats on top of each other, is it still called a dog pile??

 

 Okay, that is her contribution to the day.  Now I have a question.  As I was searching for a dog pile of cats I found this . . .

I guess it is creative, maybe.  I can't even come up with an idea to pretend and I am

pretty good at making up stories.  So if anyone wants to put a story to the picture

Help!

Do you think I should get this looked at?

Some people scare me with their lack of common sense.  I love this picture, it says a lot about how I feel about common sense, or the lack of.  Have you every wondered how some people survive through the day? If you have common sense, you believe certain things are the things that everybody knows.  However, you will find yourself saying, "How did she not know that?" or "Why would he do that?"  You think everyone knows.  Well . . . they don't!!!! And it drives me crazy!!!!!    For instance, Everyone knows you do NOT turn on your hair dryer while you are still in the bathtub, right?

A study in Berlin investigated 41 cases of death by electrocution from 1995 - 1999.  A hair dryer was the culprit in 75% of the cases.  Where is the common sense?  How do you help people find it?
